Fridays at Fairhaven

Fridays at Fairhaven: Your Weekly Dose of Farm-Fresh Fun!
Each Friday, August 22nd - September 30th: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Gather with us to enjoy a summer evening at the farm. Each Friday now through the end of September we'll be having an open house with garden tours, and a market featuring fresh produce and flowers from our farm. In addition, we'll be firing up the pizza oven for some wood-fired pizza sampling, and sharing plans for our vision of future Pizza Nights at the Farm.
Our vision:
As many of you know, we are on our way to constructing a permanent gathering space to host future Pizza Nights an other events at the farm. However, the construction of our pizza pavilion is taking longer than expected — It's a wild time to be building a building! Nonetheless, we are moving forward and expect to kick off Pizza Nights in 2023. In the meantime, we still want to gather with you, see your lovely faces and let you experience all the best things our farm has to offer which is why we decided on Fridays at Fairhaven!
What to expect:
A family-friendly atmosphere, plenty of space to relax and enjoy the farm setting, a chance to tour our vegetable and flower garden, and an invitation to take a short walk to our favorite hilltop bench to take in the scenery. There will be a market with fresh produce and flower bouquets for purchase, yard games, a bluegrass jam, and a sampling of pizzas from our wood-fired oven.
What to bring:
Bring your own beverages and picnic fare to enjoy alongside pizza samplings, a picnic blanket and/or lawn chairs, and instruments to join in the bluegrass jam. You may also want to bring bug spray and sun protection (sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, umbrellas, etc.) to be prepared for the elements, and of course please feel free to bring your friends, just let us know how many people will be coming so we know how much pizza to make! Donations appreciated to cover the cost of the pizza. Contributions to the Pizza Farm vision are also welcome to keep the dough rolling in as we navigate our construction project. A huge thanks to all who have contributed to our Pizza Farm vision so far. We appreciate your support!
What not to bring:
No dogs, please. We have a strict no pet policy. Don't get us wrong, we love those furry friends, but because we are a working farm, we cannot have dogs or other pets on our property. We make exceptions for service animals, and of course our resident farm dog, Bonus. Thanks for understanding and adhering to this policy!
